How to prevent getting infected
Although this virus is highly contagious, it can be prevented if we keep good hygiene. It is very important that we do not go outside unless absolutely necessary, as that is where we could get infected. If you need to go outside for an essential reason, make sure you wear a mask and always wash your hands. Make sure that do not rub your eye or touch your mouth before you cleanse your hands, as the disease can be transmitted easily in this way. Don't chat with someone too closely face-to-face in case that person has the disease. Social distancing measures include keeping a distance of six feet (or about 2 meters) from other people at all times.
If you are feeling unwell, please do not go outside or to the hospital and self-isolate at home instead. It is a good idea to isolate away from your family if you feel unwell to avoid transmitting the disease to your family who may include people in at-risk groups. If your country provides testing, you can also ring the hospital to get tested immediately and find out whether you actually have COVID-19.
